Discipling Men and Women
Here at the Dyer Baptist Association, we have prayed that the Lord would send more workers to the harvest field. We believe that he will provide because we have asked in faith.
2 Timmothy 2:15 is designed to Disciple Men (young and young at heart) who are being called to preach and Women who want to serve in the ministry.
Each pastoral candidate will be trained in the following areas:
Sermon Prep- Will be able to prepare an effective sermon.

Church Ministry- Will be proficient in handling a church service and special events.
​
Pastoral Ministry- Will begin to learn the many facets of congregation care.
​
Evangelism/Discipleship- Will know how to lead another person to salvation in Jesus and how to lead them to grow in their faith.
​
Personal Ministry- Will know the importance of personal spiritual growth while maintaining personal health and relationships.
